We have stayed out of it all year. I went out 11-21-18 and put 100 lbs of corn and camera out. Just checked it couple days ago. Needless to say I was shocked to have 2 really nice bucks on camera. We have owned this 13 acres since october 2008 and habe never really got daylight pics of bucks or does is why we dont hunt it. We also have a 150 acre lease in Campbell county is another reason we dont hunt the 13 acres. My brother say yesterday and had 4 doe come in @4pm again this never hapened in past. Not 34131.jpg 34131.jpg 34131.jpg sure about the hunting pressure around our property but its super cool seeing deer .

Yeah... that’s encouraging. Whats the plan for next year? Or does someone have a buck tag?

Also id be willing to lease it for 20$ an acre next year since you already have a dandy lease in CC. Lol

Now this is the trick , calm down take a breath and come up with a game plan, it would be easy to blow them off of that 13 ac for good.. You need an entrance and exit plan and the wind and all conditions have to be perfect ... Or you dont even try.. Hopefully I am preaching to the choir, good luck..

Mine is tiny also 8.5 acres long and skinny 1/2 woods 1/2 hay field. Last two years put out lots of corn but always tried going too deep and always no matter how quiet bumped them out. This year no corn, sat in a chair NOT the blind and shot a 7 pt in the first 30 minutes.

    raised n Bullitt Co.
going to have to pick and choose your time there. as mentioned, too easy to blow those deer out.

It is not the number of acres but the location of those acres.

I’d suggest hunting all day when I did hunt - come in at dark and leave at dark. That’s what I try to do on my rough little plot.

I understand your excitement. If you want to share those pictures I would be a little less detailed about where those deer are.
