I grew up in western ky in Muhlenburg Co, I had always hunted my grandfather's land in my younger days. Now I am gertting more serious, i have five antlerless deer, a spike and a seven pointer under my belt, I haven't been able to go hunting in six years, man am I feeling the itch. I am a avid outdoorsman enjoying pretty much any activities outside. Since I'm so far away from home now I plan to try my hand at some public land hunting and traditional archery. Any tips or advice would be well appreciated. I live in Elizabethtown.

As a fellow former resident of the Berg, I say welcome! lol I've moved out of the county as well, but not to far. What area did you hunt in Muhlenberg?

I still hunt there when I get the chance, my grandparents have 200 acres on that road, lost of crop land surrpounding it, tons of mature oaks bearing acorns and fiscue and clover. Amazing place but it's a 2 hour drive one way for me now. Hard to get out there.

Very familiar with the area. There's a lot of good deer around that area.
