2 limits in an hour is as good as you could want it for tree rats! Nice work!

Nice job. I keep saying during Bow season I need to go get some of them. But never do.

Nice haul! I recently moved to Kentucky, and am looking for some good public land for squirrel hunting. Any tips? I live in the Louisville area, but can travel.

I was hoping for good Squirrel hunting after rifle season, but this has not happen on my property. I've only bagged one Gray Squirrel, and seen very-very few Squirrels while hunting. Maybe it will pick-up some during late January-February, just have to wait and see. I am currently seeing lots of Deer & Turkeys though, and just wonder if those critters ate all the available mast, on the ground, before the Squirrels got a chance. We had an abundant crop of acorns, and other mast this year too.

We live in eastern ky and just happened to stumble on to this spot while on a deer quota hunt. The best advice I can give is to find a WMA and just start walking. As a rule of thumb squirrels aren't very pressured around the state most people pay them no attention. If you find a pocket of squirrels set down and just hunt. We found all of these on a main ridge top

Killed 4 grays this afternoon. Should have been 5, but my shooting sucked! Felt good to be out though. Resized_20181218_160834(1)(4).jpeg
