Do you have this plant where you roam? I have heard that it can be "uncommon" but where I am ( extreme southern Indiana ) it is very common.

I also wanted to throw out there that this seems to be a very nice group of folks we have here at Kentucky Hunting. It's a nice place to hang out and I thank y'all for that.

Not every place online is like this.

Hoosier, do you know if the twin leaf transplants easily? I've had some success with other wildflowers, fern and plants but have not tried the twin leaf.

Years ago a guy dared me to eat a root from this plant. I thought I was going to die. One of those things you only do once in a lifetime.

I successfully moved some to my "wildflower garden." It seems pretty tough and there is a lot of it so I never worry about impacting wild populations. I have successfully moved Toadshade trillium and nodding trillium too, as well as bloodroot. Haven't had any luck with ephimerals--- like dutchman's breeches.

Yes and my throat swelled shut. I could barely breath. I would never try it again.
Have you ever tried Indian Turnip?
