Over the last few weeks I have been making a burn pile in the pasture. It's about the size of a VW bug now.. I go out this morning to set it a blaze and apparently Ms bunny rabbit has decided raise her babies in it..

Oh well I can burn it some other day..

Last Spring made a nest right in my yard here in Lexington ... and the yard is fenced in! Nature finds a way. Drove me crazy though because for a few weeks I couldn’t just let my little dogs run my yard, they’d go straight to the nest and try to mess with it.

We don't have a lot if rabbits which is another reason I am letting more of my property grow back natural.. I had been mowing the crap out of every bit if open ground or planting it in plots.

Song birds and squirrels also like a good brush I’ve noticed from leaving on my place.

Bunny ain’t endangered. I’d light it and then pour fuel oil on it. You probably killed more mowing your property

You are gonna think I'm nuts but I can't kill and eat bunnies any more.. we had one as a pet it had run of the house and was litter box trained , little guy lived to be 10 and acted like a cross between a cat and a dog.. lol

Not at all. I am the same way. I do, however, have friends that will occasionally have them for dinner. They still eat good.
