Ok I’m in the market for a cell cam with a good warranty or customer service, was gonna go with spartan because of the customer service but noticed it has more bad reviews than good, that turned me away fast, any suggestions?

No complaints with the Covert. Cameras work great, customer service second to none. Bonus that they're in Lewisburg Ky.

Is there a such thing as a budget camera. Can't see spending 200.00 for a camera, any luck on the tasco brand at Walmart.

Walmart is the place for budget cams but don’t expect them to last over a year or two, I think I’m going to go with cabelas brand cams, anything cabelas brand has a lifetime warranty through cabelas, if they break you can trade them in for a new one and if they discontinue the cam u are useing you can pay the difference for a higher price one or swap for a cheaper one

I checked them out, I do like shopping local but to pricey for me, a guy I know just bought a spypoint link evo and he seems to really like it, they run off an app instead of a SIM card, plus for $250 u can’t beat the price compared to others, I’ll give it a while and see if he has any problems out of it

Agree with the shop around statement. Last year lots of the 12.1 coverts was in $400 range. I shopped around and got them for around $250 and the 12.0 while looking some was under $200. I would think even a little cheaper this year.

The whole purpose for getting a cell can is to not have to either disturb deer pulling cards, or get off the couch, or drive the long distance to the hunting grounds every time you want to see pics. At least that is what convinced me. Friend of mine bought several Spypoint cams ($250) and is constantly having issues with them so I went with the new 2018 AT&T Covert Black. I haven’t had any issues with connection or batteries or needing to manually reboot the camera to get it to send pics again like he has. One of the best things about this covert is it allows me to take a real time picture any time I want so I don’t have to assume it’s working and nothing is triggering it. Plus I don’t have to get off the couch...

If you shop around, you can find them on sale here and there. You will find Covert cell cams for under $300. They run off an app too, and load to SIM card as well. Cheap packages available. By the month, quarterly, or annually. I pay $75 a year for 15,000 pics.

Well I went with the SPYPOINT evo at Walmart for $198, was easier to setup than a reg cam and so far it is working as it should already got a few pics of doe’s and the camera gets full service where it’s at, if all goes well might have to go pick up another one

I use the spy point evo link. Very simple set up and requires only a subscription to spy point no cellular charges or anything needed.

I spoke to soon, only been 4 days and the flash quit working so all the nighttime picks are black so I’m gonna run back to Wally World and swap out for another one, maybe it was just a lemon
