I've been watching this flock for a couple weeks. 10 hens and one gobbler. Well this morning he had an intruder come to investigate the party. But oh no, big daddy wouldn't allow such a thing. When the lone tom came into the field and starting strutting, big dad left the hens and went straight towards. When he got about 20 yards from the loner, the loner went out of strut, throwed his wings upon his back, and rubber necked out of there. Sad thing is, no permission to hunt that property. Still enjoyable to watch them from my work office.

After UK ballgame looked out back and this boy strutting up fence row. 7 hens on the other side of that tree about 25 yards.

No mudhole it isn't tame. Not a tame one around here I know of. He came out following those hens. 2 years ago there was a White one here. He ran with 3 other regular Toms. He got killed 2 farms over. My thinking is some cross breading went on somewhere with some tame Turkey. When I bought this farm 11 years ago all I seen was regular color Turkey. In the last 3 years starting to see some different color around. NO IT ISNT TAME.

YEAH I don't know how much I will get to hunt him. Going to Ky. Lake for the month of April. So might get a crack at him before season closes. But showed my son the picture told him come and get him. Hopefully he does.

In the tractor sitting out hay this morning watching three big Tom's strutting around in a cornfield looks like 15 or so Hens, adds a little entertainment to this monotonous task

The toms were talking at my house this morning. No way to tell how many but multiple birds. One would gobble and the rest would follow suit. it sounded purty!

I seen him today about 10 30. I was running some new fencing on the farm. Heard one gobble pretty close. I kept watching him and 6 hens came out in the bottom below me about 60 yards. FUN TO WATCH.
