I just finished this 300lb Black Bear rug yesterday. It was taken by Tim Spears of Somerset KY this past Archery season in Pulaski Co Ky. Thanks Tim for your business.

Why is it people want red felt or another contrasting color to back a black bear with ? Not knocking your work and know it is some peoples choice but seems like felt the color of the bear would be better and make the rug seem bigger. I took a chocolate color phase up in Manitoba and had a rug made with chocolate color felt backing done, made a 350 lb bear look like a 400 lb bear.

Awesome job John, love the tan felt around it, really sets the bear off!
