Nice job. Man those mushrooms make my mouth water.
A lot of people just don’t know ,how hard it is hunting them hills up there.Straight up and down
Been a many a turkey start flopping and go 100+ yards straight over the hill . I’ve packed a plenty back up outta there but I quit that last yr. when they do thst I take a few pics and breast him out rt there. Pop the bird off for proof and climb back out.
I spent my youth chasing deer and turkeys up and down those hollers and hills. Chase one from top bench to bottom bench sometimes or ridge to ridge. Couldn’t always take the time to walk around so had to take the most direct route down and up the other side. I’m spoiled now in a little more flat country
Shot one a couple years ago flopped almost all the way down the hill so I just walked on down to the road caught a ride with my BIL back up the mountain to fetch my Rhino. That was easier than trying to crawl back up the hill.
