atsko.jpg Last year I used this and bought some Primos Silver XP Earth Blend on clearance the previous year and I poured a little in with the detergent.. I was curious what everyone else uses, I personally LOVE the fresh earth scent on my clothes just not too stout..I havent washed mine this year yet, and I def aint gonna buy any of the Primos Blend this time it's way too expensive. I would like to make my own fresh earth scent and it turn out right.

That's what I use also.....no need to use anything else with it. Just wash and throw camo in dryer without any dryer sheets. Store camo in plastic tote with a couple fresh earth scent wafers.....gives a slight cover scent without an overwhelming odor

Sport Wash. Same effectiveness as everything else, without the cost of the name. Also does a good job of keeping the waterresistent stuff actually water resistent.

I'm more worried about fading my camo out than I am about earthy scent. I like the smell of the earth waffers but I think it's more for my benefit than it is for deer. You can make yourself smell however you want but if you still stink or sweat you will still be detected.....you'll just smell like sweaty dirt.

    Err same as biography
I wash it without detergent. Then I throw it in a burlap sap with 4 or 5 apples that I cut in half. I then bury it 3-4 days before season. Just how I was taught to do it.

    Hey B Hicks,
I was wondering. Since your truck is fully camouflaged, do you have to wash it with UV protective soap? :)

Arm & Hammer is what I pour in with my clothes along with a cap full of unscented laundry detergent. Put them in a waterproof bag and hang them on the back porch.

The real question here is deodorant.

What the hell do you guys do?

-Obviously can't wear the normal stuff
-If you wear nothing at all you sweat like a hog
-If I wear the hunters "unscented" type, again I sweet like hell

Anybody got a good 'unscented' regular deo, the hunters stuff just doesn't cut it for me.

I wear moth wing drawers, and wash them in the same stuff as my camo. I rinse them in water after each hunt, and let 'em air dry. As for deodorant, I use HS Strutt's no scent deodorant stick.
