I heard someone killed one close to 200 inches in bath co. last week. Anyone have any info or pics?
Supose to be a 23 point with 8 inch bases. Deer has some tine lenght. I saw a pic of the deer today. Big deer but didn't see 200 inches according to the pic. Not saying it's not. Hoping to see the deer with my own eyes soon.
My first cousin killed that deer, I saw it Saturday evening.I know nothing about the scoring of it only know how many points and that it is a monster looking rack to me. They did some rough measurements while I was there, I think it was 16 outside and 22 or 23 inside,(if I stated that right) I will go and try and copy n paste a pic.
Can't wait to see the pics!
Congrats to your cousin Grouser.

Very Nice Buck he will score good i will post pictures tomorrow if no one has any i will also post a Buck he killed a couple years ago. Both we killed very close to State Land.
Was at the taxidermist that is mounting the deer but unfortanately I was a little late.. They had just left with the skull cap to have it scored. They said it would score between 185 and 200. They said it was killed with a crossbow and that he shot it in the leg and he lost it and it came back to the same spot a few days later and he made his second opportunity count. Can't wait to see the pics!
We earn everyone we kill in the hills and hollers this is the real hunting areas some peoples too sorry to hunt here because they are to sorry to hunt it.
I hope it goes 200. Saw a better pic today. It is a true GIANT of of rack. Very small body for the size of rack! The guy that killed it is a great guy. Would be great for him!!
Pics please, been checking this thread for days. We are headed to Bath County today for opening weekend of gun season.
I dont even know where to begin with this??? Are you complaining because not enough people hunt you " real hunting area" ? So i guess people who hunt around flatter ground dont earn the deer they kill? I didnt know a mountain made the differance between a real hunter and a sorry hunter.
Man! that rack looks to big for that buck. looks like something that comes from one of those deer farms. Congrats!!
two great deer- where they both taken on same farm
Grats on a Great looking deer, and thanks for the pics
lots of gun hunting in the area this deer was took. without giving lots of detail, it was killed in the pine grove area, he has hunted that land for years. he shot it once with a cross bow and it was a bad shot(he hit it the first time) the same evening it came by AGAIN and he made that shot count.
