Anyone have any idea what the average cost is to mount a bobcat? I would like to have one mounted, but need to know what it will cost before I try to kill one.
    Thanks,

Are you looking to get a full mount, or a rug made?

I would like to get a full mount...possibly on a piece of drfit wood. Haven't decided whether I want it to be stalking or laying. Have seen them done both ways and they both look good.

My cousin just got one, but he is just getting the rug done because it wasn't a really big one.

Still $350 or so. I'm picking mine up later today, I'll post a pic when I get it.

One of the things that determines cost of bobcat or coyote mounts.
Do you want "open mouth" with teeth and tongue showing??
    $350.00 & up.

Duo is right. He is good. The price goes up depending if you want an open mouth with plastic or porcelin teeth. No more than $250.00.

    .
I charge $225.00 for a shoulder or pedistal mount and $400.00 for a full body including base. Both prices are for open mouth.

Try making a set like a fox or coyote set but hang some feathers about 2-3 feet above the trap from a tree limb so they blow around in the wind. You can use dirty cat litter as a lure as well. Ted

I would not send a single soul to gk taxidermy he mounted my smallmouth and when I picked it up I wanted to cry . took me 5 years of hard fishing to catch a 5 lb smallie and he screwed it up . if you don't believe me send me your email address and I will send you a picture so you can make your own decision .

Make sure you get someone who does good work. I don't know who did these but check 'em out. They are so bad it's funny.

My uncle has one with a quail in its mouth, way cool. Can't tell you where though and it was along time ago.
