Does any one have a list or know where I may find one of the biggest bucks taken in each county? I took nice buck in Menifee Co and have never heard of any big ones coming from there before.

I don't know where you can find that information now but that information will be easy to get once the Bluegrass Big Bucks Club gets up and rolling before too long. Maybe you should post a thread on the BBBC public forum below to contact the scorer for your area and get your buck measured.

I took him on the DBNF.

I took him to the strader show and got him scored there and he came in at 159 B&C, one inch short of the record book. I did enter him in the BBBC book though.

Check the Ky. Fish and Wildlife site. They usually have a list of the biggest bucks from the previous year in the hunting guide.Maybe they will have a list somewhere.

If you can get a copy of the B&C records look there. They will have county of harvest. Soon you'll be able to check the BBBC for all that info.

Never hunted DBNF for deer, but was down in Jackson County on the border hunting grouse last week and saw several very nice rubs. One rub was on an 8" cedar and was part of a pretty good line. I was thinking that the deer was probably a pretty good sized one for the area. I'd bet 159" is pretty high up the charts for that area. Great deer anywhere though. Did you get him w/ a bow?

I searched all over KDFWR and B&C and couldn't find anything. B&C has a list but you have to join the club and it costs 50 bucks. I don't need to know that bad. Information is getting to be like everything else, too damn high! Guess thats why I'm a dumb ass, can't afford to be smart:p

Associate membership in Boone and Crockett is $25 a year. You can purchase a whitetail only records book for less than $50 and you don't have to be a member.

Thanks K! Sounds unlikey that in one season grayson county will produce nearly as many B&C as the have in the last 54 years. I guess anything is possible. I do think this will be a record year. That is if all the ones I've seen are entered. I saw 3 B&C at one taxidermist last week, all from this season. One was the 207 from Barren County, another was a 160+ 8 pointer and then a big 10. One of those was from Hart county but I don't remember where the other came from, maybe metcalf. I'm gonna get back up there to do some measuring and take pics. I'm pretty sure I'll be getting all of those to enter in the BBBC.

Skindog: If Grayson County had that many over 170" typical and and 195 non-typical, then they must have been killed on Multi's farm there in Caneyville

I could be wrong, but I think KY will have fewer B/C "all time" record bucks than last year, so I guess I disagree with you. We should know pretty soon though.

    Thanks, K

Rumors of big deer always out number the ones that actually measure up. I'll go with K, less than last year by about half.
