Default charles daily shotguns

what do you know about these guns.i think im buying my wife a 12ga to turkey hunt with using 2 3/4 shells. i found a mossberg 835 w/full camo for $265 but i can get the daily new for $299,but its not camo

If your talking about the C.D. pump action Maxi-Mag 3 1/2", the wholesale price is a lot lower than the Mossberg. In fact, you can get the HD camo cheaper than the woodland camo 835. I'd rather have the 835, because of parts or service, if you ever need it.

Rak,
I'd suggest a bottom end 870 or 1300 and a roll of camo tape. 2 3/4 inch shells will definitely kill turkeys, but the ammo manufacturers are putting their emphasis on the longer shells. Personally, I see no need for 3 1/2 inchers, but I won't bash anybody who uses them, either. I use a 1300, and used a different 1300 in the past. Both guns pattern extremely well, even using the standard extra full Winchoke. I know several guys who have Dalys, and several who have 835s, and I haven't heard anybody complain about them, for what it's worth.

update, i bought her the CD 12ga pump. shes been shooting it quite a bit
