We have a white tom on our farm with about a 10inch black beard. I was wondering if this is uncommon. This turkey is snow white not a buff color there are also two or three hens that are buff colored. There is also a hen with about a 7 or 8 inch beard. We have seen this white tom for about 3 years.

I'd hunt that old turkey hard. He'd make a beautiful and unusual mount. I've got a few blue hens around my place.

This turkey is about as smart as an old buck. He disappears usually about the time the season opens.

That would be a true trohy. I've only seen one other. It was smart as heck too. I guess you'd have to be to stay alive.

I have about three or four white ones on our farm. There was a nice white tom last year but the two boys he ran with ruled the roost. I took them instead.
