Im wondering if any of you take photos of wild turkeys and the outdoors and what type of cameras you use? I saw some great photos in one of my issues of Turkey Call magazine and Im interested in taking some of my own. I would appreciate your advice on what type of camera I should purchase.

I use a cannon AE-1 with a 80 to 200 mm zoom lens for 99% of my outdoor photos. So any good SLR 35 mm would be my suggestion. Some of the digital camera's have zoom features but are up there in price. The len's I use is a micro zoom , what that lets me do is focus on a subject an then zoom in on it without re-focus. Also you can get a converter that makes that same lens 160 to 400 mm. I like to use 800 ASA speed film also, don't make for a great blowup because of the grain but lets you take shots in much lower light without flash.
