I hunted a farm that I saw turkey tracks on early during bow season. I went out there on Sat. and saw tracks everywhere. Even where I parked, right next to the gravel driveway, I had tracks criss-crossing everywhere. I set up where most of the tracks came out of the woods, but couldn't get the flock to come to my calls. I ended up circling around and cutting off the flock and busted them up. I called them back in, but didn't see them when they re-grouped at about 35 yds, because they were below a small rock ledge. By the time I snuck to the ledge and looked over, they were gone, but saw one still coming in from my right. I waited until she was about 25 yards away and shot her. She ended up being about 13-14lbs. Not bad for a farm where I had never seen turkeys in previous years.
