I killed a 7X6 in Clay county with a bow. I already posted some pics on here a couple of weeks ago. It was definitely a once in a lifetime hunt. The bull was bugling his head off and he had 25 cows with him. I got everything on film, but the shot. My camera flashed "disk is full" about a second before I released the arrow. The video still turned out great, but that shot would have been nice. Man, it was somethng to be 25 yards from an animal of this size and him screaming at you. A day that I will never forget. It took a couple of months scouting and lots of walking, but we got him on the ground. God has truly blessed me in more ways than one.

Default Thanks for the story

Nice Bull, what tactics did you use to get within that range? I am headed out this weekend to zone 3 for a cow, I would love to get within 25 yards for a shot.
