whats the difference in 4, 5, 6 and oz between these shots trying 2 figure out what will shoot and patern the best

You will have to shot to find out. Each gun shots different loads different. 4's are larger than 5's or 6's so there is less shot in each shell of the same weight but they will carry more energy. there is also 4/5 shells that have a mix of 4's and 5's.

There are 220 pellets of #6 per ounce, 170 of #5 per ounce, and I think it is 135 of #4 per ounce. Going by memory here, but it's at least close.

i prefer the 3 1/2 6 shots more pellets in them more pellets hitting the bird if it helps i shoot a benelli super black eagle with a kicks 660 choke tube have killed birds with this combo out to 55 yards
