Default I'm patterned in and ready.

Hope I get a shot at a bird this week! Man those turkey loads sure do kick!

It won't kick anymore than a 22 when you have a beard across the front sight!

    Amen, Salty.

But they're like a mule when you're patterning!

I'm looking forward to Wed. I've been patterning them in corn fields. Seems like 1:00 is feeding time.

I know this is really going to sound elementary and stupid, but I almost REALLY screwed up. I thought season started tomorrow. Thank God a friend set me straight. I marked it wrong on my calendar. I’m now looking forward to Wednesday.

I envy you gsp. Can't get out 'till Friday. At least I'll get in three of the five days. With some luck maybe just one. Heck, I'll go out with somebody else even if I do luck out the first day.

This thing is like a big teaser for spring season, just enough to whet the appetite.

I guess I'm just going to cover up well and hide and hope one walks by where they seem to have been lately. I'm sure I'll see about 10 deer each day I'm turkey hunting though [:p]

Also saw a group of about 20-30 hens on 185 Sunday going to the farm. They were crossing the road right in front of me, so got a close up look.
