Yes they have one (how else do you think they pass on their genes?) As for what you think you saw one doing, I'm with your boss on that one.

The answer for the two that I dealt with this year.... in the dirt.
It's not so much if you win or lose - it's how you shoot the flaming arrow while riding a camel.

    Male reproductive system
The male reproductive organs in the domestic fowl consist of two testes, each with a deferent duct that leads from the testes to the cloaca. Fowls do not have a penis found in other animals. The testes are bean shaped bodies located against the backbone at the front of the kidney. Their size is not constant and they become larger when the birds are actively mating. The left testes are often larger than the right. On the inside of each as they are located in the body cavity is a small, flattened area that is believed to correspond to the epididymis of mammals. The deferent duct starts at this flattened area.
I've also seen domestic jakes masterbate, never a tom though..

Well, I stand corrected. Technically they don't have one. http://www.iacuc.arizona.edu/trainin...y/species.html
And barney sure wasn't kidding about ducks...

Wow..what a off the wall question. I read somewhere that they do have a 'penis' but it's not what you normally think of. Can't think of the name of it right off..but I think it's located up inside of their body, and only protrudes when they are breeding a hen. As far as the masturbation thing..I have no clue about that one. You could google 'wild turkey sexual organs' and probably get a wealth of info on it though.

Must have been a boring day at work for this conversation to come up.

You would be wrong! The only pecker a bird has... is between his eyes, not his legs.
