    If you could only have one gun what is it and what caliber?

    If I were limited to only one gun, it would be a Remingon Wingmaster 12ga with an extra slug barrel. It may not be idea, but you could hunt anything with fur or feathers & it would do a pretty good job.

    .340 Weatherby Magnum--Mine has killed some grouse, a crow, rabbits, a squirel, several deer, a pretty good size moose, 2 caribou and a 7 1/2' black bear.

    All one shot kills.

    The 250 gr. Grand Slams did a good job. These were tough-ass Alaskan animals that made a meal to supplement the freeze dried stuff that gets old after awhile. I forgot to add that it works on fish too. If your at the right angle, it'll even blow them up on the bank for you.

    I wouldn't recommend this caliber for small game, but it works. You can't get any deader than dead.
