I have 2 and have no complaints. Look here taurusarmed.net

Personally I don't like the striker fired actions, but the taurus is supposed to be really good. I'll stick with single/double actions.

Might want to take a look at the Smith & Wesson M&P series for close to the same money.

I shot one and liked it. I really like the second strike capability. I actully used it on one of his reloads (primer probably not seated well). Pulled the trigger and "click", pulled it again, BANG! No fooling around trying to recock the hammer or jacking the slide (though that is important to learn in case the second strike is a click also).

I was impressed with the amount of gun you get for the $$.

I suppose I prefer the single/double action more and when I had a Glock I didn't try hard enough to get used to it. I find the single action to be more accurate and stick with a .45 or .357.

The S&W is to bulky and ugly IMO. You WILL NOT beat the price or quality of the Taurus 24/7. I own 2 of them. Both stainless 40 S&W. My favorite is the 24/7 compact.
