Thread: Cardboard duck blind!

    well i was out there at 1. it looked pretty good and a coot was setting in the brush in the front. i took a looksy from inside. and seen the carboard and was like LOL i know this guy from internet haha. but looks pretty cool. i think the weather shouldnt do much to the carboard u got it wrapped and stuff covering so much it should effect it any. so i think you will be ok. just a little bare on left side probably a branch had fell over and that green spot my buddy seen i never seen it.

    I actually got the idea from some other blind on the lake several years ago. It was made of pallets with flip tops on both sides(It was on an island) They stapled cardboard to the sides to block the wind.

    The cardboard was really nice cause that spot can be hard to get to when the water is a little lower. I wasnt' sure I could get in there with six pallets. I was looking at pallets when I spotted the cardboard.

    All my help bailed on me so it took me a good solid two days to build it with all the brush cutting ect.

    well we built one across from you about 500 yrds on and on the same side as the big blind. from what i hear he is a douche. our blind is just a brush blind

    We had a good day out by the cypress trees when the water was up a little last season.
