The co-main events were Cote VS Anderson Silva and Koscheck VS Thiago Alvez.

Thiago won his fight against Koscheck. Pretty much dominated it. Landed some of the best leg kicks I have EVER seen. They were nasty.

Silva won his fight because Cote tore an ACL. I thought that would have resulted in a no contest, but they called it TKO. Silva was winning the fight up to that point. But Cote was doing okay. Not much offense but Silva hadn't really hurt him either. Cote is the first person to take Silva past the first round.

Yeah, but who else has taken a knee like that to the face and then a kick to the head and not been hurt somewhat. I am pretty sure that fight would have gone the entire 5 rounds. Cote was lookin like he can hang, he wasn't winning at that point, but he could hang. I thought it was pathetic when people booed him...and Silva continues to impress me. So many fighters would have celebrated that victory, while Silva acted like he didn't even want it as a victory. I believe he has more respect for his opponents than anybody in UFC it seems, but if you disrespect him, we all know the outcome

Don't know about the five rounds thing. With Silva all it takes is one mistake, one misstep and you're out on your back wondering what happened. Silva is a great fighter and has the utmost respect for anyone he steps in to the ring with. I like to watch him fight cause you never know whats going to happen in the next thirty seconds.
