    Default What's it worth

I have a Ruger #1, 7MM with a 3X9 50MM swift scope. The gun has been used two seasons. There have been 2 - 3 boxes of shells shot through this gun. It is a great gun, a little heavy for my preferrence though. I have an Encore pistol in 7-08, and want to by an Encore rifle in the 7MM. I rarely sell or buy used guns, so wanted some input as to what it should be worth.

    Thanks fellow hunters,

    TnRick

    Is this Ruger a 7mm-08?

Rick, it's worth about $20. I'll get the check in the mail to you ASAP. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> Seriously, though, I haven't seen many No. 1's sold, but I have seen one or two go for around $400 to $500. That may or may not be common prices, though. Don't know what they're "offically" worth. That 7mm will make a difference; if it's 7mm Mauser (7x57) it won't go for as much as 7mm Magnum or 7mm-08. At least in my experience.
