I hunt with one of several wooden bows I have made and use wooden arrows I also made. Most bows 45# or so at 28". I also have a Bear recurve that I would use if I didn't like the wood bows so much.

i use the bear lights out not the best bow ive ever shot but it definitely will get the job done
Mathews DXT. Replaced my 7 yr old 38" Golden Eagle Litespeed. The DXT is one smooth, sweet shooting bow.
Just old junk to most folks... Browning Summit II and Martin Lynx Magnum.
Mathews DXT 70#, quite bow, more accurate than the shooter using it!, the short axel to axel length makes it more user friendly out of a tree stand and ground blinds.
Parker trailblazer. it was an affordable upgrade from my old bear.
HCA Speed Pro ( speed freak)
Quickdraw, as long as it shoots well for you and gets the job done!

Mathews Switchback, I had a Bear Whitetail II, my buddy had a Mathews not sure which one I seen how it shot and felt. I got mine & love it.
Hoyt Vortec. Great brace height, 34 inch axle to axle, decent speed.
