how would you make a good CHEAP feeder
how would you make a good CHEAP feeder
I have seen people use pvc pipe as a gravity feeder. Take one long piece and a elbow piece and connect them together. I am sure there are other ways but this one seems pretty cheap and easy to set up.
A friend of mine was telling me the other day he had seen a feeder made out of a barrel. Four holes had been cut on each side at the bottom. Inside the barrel was a road pylon (traffic cone). The pylon caused the corn to be pushed out to the holes as it worked its way to the bottom.
the pvc sound like a good idea,i might give that one a try.the barrel is good also.theyre just hard to come by
Sounds like a good topic for a "How-To" article. Thanks raktrakr

anytime darton73. wheres this "how to" article goin to be? id like to check it out
The PVC idea will work but the only problem with it is that since there is an elbow at the bottom when it rains the bottom portion of the feeder gets full of water. But I haven't fooled around with them enough to come up with a better design that is easier than that. Only thing i can think of is some kind of roof.
