Default lever action big game rifle?

I've always had a thing for lever action rifles and am thinking of puchasing a Lightning BLR Long Action 7mm Rem. Mag. Has any one had any experiences with Brownings lever action rifles? Good or bad I would appritiate the come back.
    Thanks

Hey Taggedout,I'm only showing 1 reply, sure you were not looking at the READ column?
Back in the Deer Rifle thread I remember someone posting about a BLR.
    I don't have one, but I really like the BAR & A-Bolts.

    Default blr

I have a blr in 7mm-08 I really like it, I have a few issues with i though. The clip, I have to be sure it is locked in when I first load because it will fall out. I was also a little disappoined when I opened the box at home and the first thing I saw was (made in Japan). On the other hand it is so light it feels like I am carring a 22 rifle and it operates and shoots great.

If it did someones been using the wayback machine again. I'll answer anyhow just in case. My father in law has one in 270 and it kicks like a govt mule so I cant imagine the abuse it would give out in 7 mag. I cant say Im very fond of it. They are nicely made and very pleasing to hold, but they still kick like mules.

My only issue with the BLR... I've shot a few and everyone had a horrible trigger. May not be the case with all of them, but I would try out the trigger before I bought it (I do that with any gun I buy)
