that came up a little bit ago about a hunting show that was on. The guy was in Florida using a 45 cal. muzzleloader. I'm not sure about everything else. What ya planning on, shoulder mounted rocket? [:D]

I was thinking handgun, maybe TC contender or a Ruger .41 mag - it would be something new.

Other than a burning desire to try something new, I'd stick with a twelve guage. As a rule, Osceolas are movers, and they gobble very little. As a result, the shots come pretty quick, and often in some pretty thick stuff. I consider my self a very good pistol shot, but hitting one of those birds in the head or neck would be a tall order, because their heads are rarely if ever still. Please don't try a body shot, because the heavy odds are that the bird will fly off or run off wounded. Good luck in Florida, and a pair of snake boots isn't a bad idea!
