    wheres the best place to aim while bowhunting for turkeys

    I don't aim for the head, like one fellow on here does. If you can wait till one turns his back on you, and shoot then, it works damn good. Other than that, you'll likely have to chase him down. There's probably lots of turkeys hit and lost each year by bowhunters.

    actually the best place to aim is for the head...it's either hit or miss....i have a video of a fella that has taken over 50 doing this..
    second perfered shot placement be for the wing butt..

    I like shooting them from a treestand and sticking them in the ground. They dont get away then.[:D]

    Yea, CSS says shoot them in the head , with a bow or a gun. I perfer broadside with a good broadhead.

    thanks fellas,i was looking for the best shot with the least waste of meat.it seems the guys on tv just shoot'm wherever.but i guess you take what you can get
