Choke tubes

I have a Rem. 870 Super Magnum 3 1/2 inch chamber. I have been using a H.S. Strut Undertaker choke with a .665 constriction and shooting the Winchester #4 shot 2 oz. load for Turkey. I have heard a lot of good things about the Gobblin' Thunder Choke tubes but I am wondering if it is realy worth the $59.99 price tag. Can anyone give me some guidance? Can I realy expect to better my patterns by 20%, as advertised, over what I already have?

I think more hunters miss turkeys with too "tight" of a choke than not for 2 reasons.
1. When they come in close it is hard to hit that little moving head.
2. You will end up thinking you can hit them waaaaaay out there, and
you know what the results will be.

If your gun patterns decent at 40 yds what else do you need?

I wouldn't hunt with a modern shotgun without a Kick's Gobblin' Thunder choke. They are worth every penny. I have one for my 3.5" 870, one for my Benelli Super 90, and one for my old 835. They all are devastating! I would recommend patterning 3.5" Winchester 2 oz. #5's...

Your right Thunderstorm very tight is not always good. This spring I hunted with my son on the first morning and we had a bird come in at a angle that made him about 10 yards when he came open. My son missed and I got it with a following shot. We sat tight as two more came in just as close. He took very good aim and killed that bird. However he took the top 1/2" of the turkeys head. If you have a good pattern at 40 yards your in good shape. We don't need to be shooting at turkeys at 70 yards. Get them close and enjoy the show.

For a remington shotgun I would recommend the remington turkey tube.I had great results with it.
