Default Field and Stream Store Coming to Kentucky

Dick's Sporting Goods newest store concept is an outdoors store along the lines of Bass Pro or Cabelas. They are opening one in Crescent Springs (northern Ky) this fall.

    Interestingly, they're selling AR's there.

They already lost my business if they are owned by Dicks.

Guess they realized making the gun owners mad was a bad decision.

Me as well. If it's owned by Dicks, they will likely have 1) no selection 2) will be overpriced by 20% 3) have "experts" so ignorant of basic facts about outdoor products as to make me think I'm shopping for a box of shotgun shells at a Victorias Secret.

I quit shopping at Dick's years ago for the same reasons you all have mentioned. I did see a story in the News today that Dick's is once again selling AR-15's. Imagine that............

Wouldn't buy a piece of gum out of it if they are associated with limp Dicks sporting goods.

I heard yesterday that a Dicks sporting goods is going to be built in Frankfort.
Its not the thrill of the kill. Its the joy of being out to enjoy the hunt.
