The cats are horrible. No identity. But you don't take Goodwin and his potential and ability to score out for Hood and his 2 steps slow inability to score at all. You play to win regardless of the shalacking your taking and Goodwin in gives you a better chance vs. Hood in.

Ok ,Goodwin is a better player than Hood and I realize he has better raw skills than hood....but, when the coach says he doesn't take instructions very well.....What more can you say. Keep tabs of his assist per game..... practically none! Sometimes a good lesson on the bench for a little while is a good motivator....! There are many different things that make up a good team and it isn't always how many points you get !

This may be the only team I know of that hasn't got any better at all during the whole season. In fact they may be more confused than ever. WWW and Cal didn't get their moneys worth for this bunch I guess...LOL

They just don't have the fire, work ethic, or unselfishness to be a good team. You can put all the talent in the world on the floor but that doesn't make them a team. These guys are not team first.

According to Cal, Goodwin is a hard worker. I just don't think he gets it. He doesn't pass when he's on the fast break and he is much weaker around the rim than I expected. He'll get there like Knight or Wall but they actually finished. I'll bet he doesn't finish 25% of the time. Just too soft. Same problem Harrow and Poythress has.

Alex looks like a beast but he acts like he's dumb as a rock. Hard to believe when they say he does well in school.

They got away with it in high school Superior athletes. They could depend on their athletecism to win. Never had to worry about it. They've not bought into the effort and team concept required at this level.

My real question is if Polythress gets a scholarship next year. I mean the kid could get drafted yes... but he has shown me nothing to indicate he deserves a scholarship next year... at all. If we get wiggins and randel... where does he fit?

I may get crucified for saying this I hope not... But I look at polythress like I did jones his freshman year. A monster that Just wasn't there but jones shown more then him but if he stays he has to get better practicing against them guys so maybe he would wake up. I hope WCS stays or can be played next year cause I do like watching his but Goodwin can leave and take his budy harough with him
