Rand Paul Filibustering Brennan Nomination

Live and ongoing at this time.Been at it for since 11:47 am ET.Lol.He wants a definite answer from the administration on whether they will kill noncombatants with drones on US soil.(I think I got this right.)

He's waiting on something Holder already answered with a written statement before the filibuster began? That doesn't make sense like much of Washington.

At least he's doing it the only way I think any filibuster should be done. Filing a motion to filibuster then going to dinner doesn't seem right.

Holder gave no definitive yes or no answers to Pauls question according to Paul.The portion that I have watched Paul said he would end the filibuster at any time if they would give a yes or no answer.There have been a few other senators that have also been up speaking with Paul.The ones I saw agreed with Paul and also had questions of their own about the use of drones not only here in the US but still have some questions on overseas use.

Paul asked if they would, they said there could be some extreme situation in which they would. But stressed they have never planned for such even nor intend to. Sounds like a "in theory, yes" answer to me. No caveats given, just skepticism at the notion in general. Obviously other recently released material makes it clear the justice dept has considered targeting citizens on us soil with no specific methods.

He seems pretty determined. He is in the 7th hour so why not keep going! I dont know the rules exactly but he can have relief from time to time cant he?
