I have a terrible yote problem. Is anyone close that can assist me? I'd like to learn how to trap these critters. You can have all you can get this season, if you'll show me how to do it.

2PM til dark snares and traps were set. Now I sit here like a kid on Christmas Eve wondering what I'll see the next few days. Snares in several fence crossings and some good sets placed on intersections and obvious travel areas. I was trying to take in all the information along the way. I may have found my new "fix".

Well needless to say I didn't need to set an alarm. I was awake with the first glint of light in the sky. I waited for the 7:30 time set the day before, then headed out. We found a black coon at the first coon set. He wasn't a bit mad, but immediately tried to get his paw out of that dog-proof when he saw us. Moved on from there and checked a trap by a hay roll, and 3 fence row snares. Had 2 misses on these snares. One was tight, the other had hair on several barbs right beside the snare, and reset each. Checked a pond dam foot trap to no avail. Inspected a bluff area and found the den in the picture. Set 3 more dog-proofs there. Went on to find a couple more snares untouched.
We decided to add a few to make the round an even hour walk. Added a few snares on another fence line where we saw hair, set 2 more foot hold traps on points where if I was a yote I would travel, then set the real testers. 2 cat traps. I'm not sure if they will work, but if I was a cat I'd have to give it a look.
I just thought I was excited yesterday.
