Default Home made camera Arm... Thoughts?

So after looking at several camera arms and just not being satisfied with the products that are being put out in MY price range (under 100$), i decided to try and make my own. This didnt take very long at all, and Im VERY satisfied with the final product. Just ordered my fluid head off Ebay for 15$ for a quality product. This thing, though it doesnt weigh but maybe 2 pounds is solid. extremely smooth motion, and ABSOLUTELY NO PLAY in the joints or brackets. Each arm is about 2 foot long, putting my total reach at about 4 ft, with 180 degree of motion. Finished I have less that 50$ in it, plus my buddy is going to powder coat it for free. Check it out and let me know what you think?

I have eye bolts on both sides of the bracket to attach the ratchet straps for a secure fit to the tree.

From past expirences you will wish you had three piviots four if you count the base. Looks very nice though ours we made looks nice but my buddy got tired of fighting with it we had a up and down pivot at the base bit not a sided to side which is a must not a need he decided to order him a motion camera arm like mine and they are sweet note there not under 100$ tbough but good luck it looks nice
