I JUST MOVED HERE,LAST AUG, IAM A DEER,TURKEY MAN. I HAVE 40AC.AND WOODS FIELDS AROUND EVERWERE. I HAVE SEEN QUAIL,RABBITS ALL OVER THE PLACE. MY ?????????? IS I WANT TO KEPT THE QUIAL AROUND, I HAVE SEEN FEEDERS FOR THEM. NOT TO HUNT.ANY IDEAS ON FEEDERS OR KEEPING THEM AROUND?? THANKS WASP

Create some good brush piles in the woods, provide some permanent nesting cover, kill fescue and avoid mowing during nesting season. Food is not nearly as limited as nesting cover and brood habitat in most areas. Sometimes feeders will concentrate birds making them much more vulnerable to predators.
