looks like I'll be out after em next week. I've gotten reports of them hitting the tobacco patch pretty hard. I'll just set up between it and the creek where they roost and wait in the outhouse blind.

Those type of turkeys ought to be easier to hunt. Just fire up a cigarette and watch them pour in. I wonder what one of those gobblers would sound like?

I went out today and walked the tobacco patch. Sure nough there was a little sign. I guess they were wither after grit, dusting, or the freshly planted wheat.

Good Luck, I'v been seeing alot on my place. Just ain't after em' yet though. I put about 20 to bed the other night.

Good Luck. I have to go to Atlanta to a meeting during the first hunting season. I have spotted a big gobble with a paint brush for a beard. He is on private porperty but we know how that doesn't stop someone from sneaking on an hunting.
I am hoping to get after him in December.

I saw a group of 3 mature toms this afternoon in a field, not 5 minutes after they moved on off, here come 11 more, all toms. Its on a farm that I have never hunted, but I do have access to, it may be trouble for one of those boys!!:D

I'm beginning to wonder if I'm gonna get out after em or not! The wife keeps throwing my upcoming KS trip up as an excuse(I'm gonnna be gone about 10 or 11 days) I'll miss the most of the first shotgun season but I may take my little girl opening day. Who knows, It'll prolly be Apr 15 th before I get to go!
