I recently bought a copy of Tom Kelly's "The Tenth Legion" after hearing so many people talk about it. I have read the first 3 chapters this evening and can tell you that if you have not read it find yourself a copy and read it. It's a very good book about the subculture that Turkey Hunters belong to.
I went on my first hunt for Turkey this past spring and have been hooked reading every book I can get my hands on about Turkey hunting, and the art of calling.

Tis indeed a great book. When i first got into turkey hunting, i bought everry book i could find. They R waist deep in my closet. Still pull several of them out each winter to help pass the time and get me ready for the upcomming spring. Tenth Legion is one of the first ones i re-read every year. Others are "Turkey Hunters Digest" by Dwain Bland, who i hunted with in 92 in Western Oklahoma and is still a friend today. Also some gems i read are "Old Pro Turkey Hunter" by Gene Nunnery,' "Spring Turkey Hunting" by John Mcdaniel, hell i could type book titles for awhile! Wanna read any of them, let me know!

what u get out, is what u put in
