I eased down the fog shrouded woodsline, neck deep in anticipation of the comming hunt! Making my way into the woods,i picked my way carefully. Finally and only 40yds in, i heard a inquiring cluck! GREAT[;)]. I popped up my blind in jig time and got ready for the action that was sure to follow[;)] On cue, as light filtered in with resistance from the fog, the birds began to peep and cheep! HOT DOG'S i thought to myself, this is gonna be an ole fashioned turkey shoot! As more light revealed the world about me, i noticed what looked to be paths cleared out by some heavy equipment[:0]. HMMmmm!! Anyway, the turkey talk was in full bloom now and i was anticipating action soon. VAROOOMMM!! What wuz that? i thought! Huh! Sounds like heavy equipment. They were logging the woods nearby(300yds). Hey, sounds like it's getting closer. Well, i'll be darn, it is[:0]. There was a logging tractor barrelling down thru the woods and i'll be darn if it don't sound like it's commin this way[:(!]Hell, it was, and it was all i could do to come out of the blind and pitch it out of the way b4 i got run over!!![:(!][:0][:(!]. Incredible!! I nearly got run over @ 6;30am by a logger! There went the birds! I was then and still am now, stunned by the turn of events! I was gonna kill, i tell ya[;)]
