I just saw the most recent on the net. I cannot understand why we don't just completely take over that country. Clean house and then allow the people of that country to set it up how they want. This nickel and diming our military power over there for politics is rediculous.
Anyone that doesn't believe there is terrorist in Iraq just need to watch these videos. I think that we should have a no mercy campaign against these people. They are certainly doing it with us.

Sometimes you get tired of being the good guy......I say... start finding these guys....skin them alive, roll them in rock salt, make a video of them screaming for the world to see. Always being the good guy sucks.
Am I crazy, a sicko, touched in the head?....maybe, really I'm just mad as hell.
All those that say we shouldn't have started the war with Iraq are not seeing the fact that there are terrorist in Iraq. Forget about the WMD, thats what we were after, but found terrorist. This is what this war is all about, a terrorist threat, WMD or not. We need to quit tip-toeing around and rain down some havoc.
I could rant and rave about this for hours, but I've said way too much already.
shoot em in the lips
This thing won't be over until we raze the entire region...

Steelslinger,
I really don't want to start an argument, but some of us hold other ligitimate opinions about our role in Iraq. Personally, I don't think we had any business or reason for this pre-emptive action against Iraq. Yes, Hussein was an evil dictator, but so is Castro, Kim Jung Il, and the current Ayatollah in Iran, which BTW both Iran and North Korea are currently greater threats than Iraq EVER was, but we have taken no action against any of them, nor should we until we have evidence that they are a direct threat to the US or one of our allies. IMHO, the terrorists followed us into Iraq BECAUSE OF OUR ACTIONS and we have made the overall terrorist situation worse by our actions in Iraq, which has turned out to be one of the greatest recruiting tools al-Queda now has. As we have seen, al-Queda is a very opportunistic organization and all we have done is give them a golden opportunity.
Also, in no way is this to be considered as being soft on terrorists. I am fully in favor of bringing to bear all of our military might against bin Laden and al-Queda...THEY ARE THE ONES WHO ATTACKED US...rather than chasing after personal vengeance for our President and financial windfalls for his contributors.
IMHO, regardless of whether we left Iraq now, in 6 months or 2 years, the end result will be the same. Iraq will dissolve into civil war as soon as we're gone and another military dictator will rise to power, and all of this will have been for NOTHING. True change will only come from the people themselves, and I see no indication that the Iraqi people have the desire or backbone for self-rule.

Iraq is done. American money is the only thing holding it together. As soon as we pull our troops out, that country is going to implode. Personally, I'd like the entire Middle East region nuked to hell, but that's just me [:D]

Grouseguy,i'll try to stay calm but man you really don't know what you are talking about,PERIOD!!
It sucks that we are taking casualties everyday, and al-sadrs(the guy with the black diaper on his head)should have been head hunted and hung inside the mosque he hides in a long, long time ago.If that were to happen though the bleeding heart socialist liberal pigs,NOT CALLING YOU ONE;JUST JOHN&TAAAARAAAAAZZZZZUHH would be the first to come out and start criticizing our actions.People like yourself would even believe what they say.Iraq WAS a threat as John Kerry and Bill Clinton stated in 1998,however when they realized hollywood actors didn't approve they done nothing, even letting the ole ace of spades run out the un inspectors. You know kinda like the pass they gave osama,oh i'm sorry they had a warrant for him guess he didn't have a camel that could carry him to reno,of course reno was busy chasing down those evil gun-owners and don't forget Elian.
I don't know you but i can tell you that you'r head is buried in the sand, with you'r eyes shut, and hands covering you'r ears.
THERE IS NONE SO BLIND AS THOSE WHO WILL NOT SEE!!!!!!!
The klinton administration,( That frat party that occupied the white house for 8 yrs.)dropped the ball on terroism.9-11 was planned way before GEORGE W. BUSH was elected.Klinton failed to strike osama after he was identified in a terror camp probaly planning 9-11.
John Kerry is the biggest joke i've ever witnessed, oops ttaaarrrraaaazzzuuuhhhhh is,john is second.I love watching the crowds at his speeches,i'll bet their average iq is 50<.
Oh yeah,do you really think castrol is that bad, i mean everyone in cuba has health insurance, isn't that the socialist platform that the liberals are always fighting for?

I have a different point of view than most of you and since this is the public forumn I'm gonna let it rip. I'm against the terroist but only before I was for them. Now I just think we should all get along.
Husseing (like Hitler) was just misunderstood. Them little commercial jet air liner shells in the Iraq dessert heck that doesn't prove a thing. Yep I support our troops as long as they aren't fighting and I'm beind them 100%. Don't get me wrong I'm not against us defending ourself I just think we should wait until we are attacked by a clear superior enemy force standing in a line that says we are your enemy shoot us.
Yep America sucks we should be more like the French. You know how they tow the line not just the line of war but the line of peace. They were sending money to Hussein when nobody else would and what did they get in return OIL. And when Hitler invaded France did they quivel over the occupation nah they just sucked it up. Thats the way we should be more people would like us if they could rape us first.
And truely isn't that better to be loved by many rather than strong and feared by many.
I for one vote for the willingness to make a decision only after the media has told us how the general public feels after all isn't that the way it should be.
And don't let the lack of an attack on American Soil fool you we are stilll the target of much terrorism. And just as soon as we let up on them and get complacent they will attack again. In the meantime they are going to focus on the weaker countries that will just quiver with fear and give in to the demands of the terroists. After all if you fight a bully he might punch you and that would be bad. If you throw rocks at the bully you might hit his friends and that would be bad. So just don't do anything.
Yeah there is no way them folks can be helped it's best just to hide your head in the sand and hope they don't get mad at us.
Now if you all will excuse me I'm going over to the PETA forumn and talk to them about the importance of protein in their diet ecspcecialy protien from meat products. They clearly need to open their minds and be enlightened by me.

Okay, I'm gonna make a post that's not smart-ass and doesn't ridicule anyone's valid viewpoints.
The United States, IMO, has its priorities screwed up. If we are to believe that this was a war started to protect us from an ever-present threat, then why aren't we attacking Iran or North Korea? These people hate us worse than Iraq did, and they are crazier and more powerful. This is not saying Iraq wasn't a threat. However, they have been a calculated threat for many years, and the attack on America on 9/11 should not have changed their threat level. (Iraq had absolutely no connections to Al-Qaeda. Actually Iraq was on Al-Qaeda's "People to Kill" list as they had a secular government instead of the government based on Allah)
This leads me to believe that this war had some other motivation (perhaps drawing attention away from our grievous intelligence void, no matter which administration caused it), an attempt to send a message to the rest of the world; only the wrong message got sent.
Instead of an "accept no bull" message, we sent out something to the effect of "accept no diplomacy". Believe me, we don't want that. In regards to the loved by many versus feared by many let me say this. Feared by the world has been tried before: Germany, Russia, Rome, etc... How did that work out for 'em?
The land belongs to no one, and is therefore borrowed by all.

Iran is next on the list!
To hunt, provide for my family, and serve my Lord and savoir Jesus Christ.
"the klinton administration,(that frat party that occupied the white house for 8 yrs.)".... good one. Let us not forget that it was proven that Hussein was backing Al-Qaeda. IMO Iraq is and will continue to be in a better situation than it was before the war started. If that is what we as Americans must do (protect every 3rd world country, and help them too) then so be it. As the the leading, most prosperous, and best damn country in the world I see it as our responsibility. If I was from a 3rd world country I would appreciate the help.
