Just realized I'll be in KS deer hunting on election day. Any of you ever vote absentee. I did when I was in the military, but don't remember how!

go downtown to the county clerk's office, or better yet, call there first. I don't think it will be too hard to get one.

I don't know if they do this in every county, but our county clerk sets up a voting machine at the courthouse 30 days prior to the election and you can go by, sign an affadvit that you are going to be away on election day and vote. Otherwise, you have to apply for a paper ballot and then return it.

I'll be checking on it tommorow. Don't want to miss my oppurtunity. If I didn't vote and Kerry got elected I would be sick!
