The fall meeting of the Second District Federation will be held Tuesday October 12th, 2004 at 6:30 p.m. The Coonrange Fish & Game Club in Lewisburg will host the meeting. A meal will be served at a nominal charge and members are encouraged to bring their spouse, family and anyone interested in the great outdoors. This is a great time to meet other people like you who really care about the future of our wildlife and the outdoors. Together we can make a difference.
With our hunting rights constantly under attack, prevailing gun bans, and decreasing funds from federal levels to support wildlife programs, it is more important now than ever to have input and support from all clubs in the Second District. The Second District Federation needs your support to ensure the quality of outdoor recreation hunting, fishing and trapping, as well as conservation methods for wildlife.
The Second District is made up of the following counties - Allen, Butler, Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, Hopkins, Logan, McLean, Muhlenberg, Ohio, Simpson, Todd, Union, Warren, and Webster.
The league represents over 35,000 members at this time. With more clubs involved, our unified voices will be much stronger with the Department of Fish and Wildlife as well as Kentucky legislation. We encourage and invite all sportsmen's clubs to join the Second District Federation as well as the League of Kentucky Sportsmen to strengthen our voice.
