Be honest,..Thru the deer season, how often do you practice/shoot your bow? Me personally, I shoot at least once a Week in the back yard from a 12 foot deer stand, and at the beginnng of each hunt I pick a leaf, twig etc... to shoot from the stand with my "practice" arrow.

i shoot usually once a week as well
nothing can build your confidence as knowing your shots will be true..
in fact i shot yesterday from 10-25 yrds all were kept within a baseball size group even though i usually group them tighter then that i do believe that should be good enough

My practice stops when the season starts. I usually carry a couple of arrows tipped with field points & shoot before I come out of the stand in the moring, or shoot when I first get in the stand in the afternoon. I figure if I ain't ready by season I best not go.

If I am going to hunt in the evening I ALWAYS shoot a couple arrows before I go to the woods. The morning hunts well...If my bow was on the eve before it should be OK.....confidence as well as faith can move mountains.
Remember folks, bows are like race cars, fast horses and women....all may be running hot one second and blow up the next[;)]..If mrs. Xtreme reads my comment about women she may shoot me as well[:o)] At least my statement holds true about bows, horses and race cars.
