Twenty Longbeards came in and I got a shot at this one at 40 yards.
The new Diamond Iceman put it on him. He went about thirty yards and was done !!!

I had 15 toms come in the other night. I'm in a tree watchin these birds for what had to have been an hour. They come into the trees were I am and start spreading out. All of a sudden they go crazy and this squirrell had ran right through the middle of them. Two or three fly up into the trees and the rest are scattered on the ground. One walks over towards my tree facing away from me. of course they're all freaked out from the squirrell and I draw to shoot and the one in the tree clucks and the one I'm drawing on squats as I release he lifts off and I missed. With that commotion the rest take to the trees. Sure would've liked to have made the shot, but it was still an awesome event. I love being in the woods!!

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut as they say....:D Not bad at all. I stuck a long beard the other day but it was so thick I couldn't find him. Had 7 longbeards and 8 deer at 20 yards this afternoon. Didnt want to shoot another one and take a chance at losing it. Unless it drops in its tracks I ain't going to find it.
