Folks it's only two weeks away so let's hear about some numbers. I don't meen tell me where your honey hole is just what or if you're seeing anything. I haven't been out around the house much, probably will go out in the morning. Got a nice little timber hole off the river I might check out tomorrow. The refuge in Henderson looked pretty impressive last week. Let's hear it!!!!!

The day before yesterday I went up in a single engine plane and looked all around some of your holes smoke. Didn't see much...Sorry! Maybe they were hiding in some timber.

Just kidding! By the time I got to your holes I was so sick I couldn't look anymore.
There were around 200-300 ducks on that one lake at about 1:00 P.M. today. It was awesome.

I've noticed a few more birds here in central Ky over the last few weeks. Most have been blue & green wings with increasing numbers of green heads and other puddlers, Although on 11/13 there were 3 golden eyes on one of the lakes near Lex that we just got this year. Its been holding 100+ ducks and about 200 to 400 geese.
I hope that i can have everything ready by thanksgiving morning!!!!!!

Duck #'s are about average for this time of year here in Ballard Co. Nothing really exciting as of yet.

Boys, checked that little timber hole this morning and I must say not too bad. Seen mallards, alot of woodies, and a bunch of grays. I think with a couple of spinners hidden a little bit and some calling, we'd do alright. I think we're going to get some weather before opening day so keep your fingers crossed. CEO, you might just get your waders wet this year ha ha ha!!!!![;)]
