That joint in Lex on Southland drive used to have some supplies, may pick back up on their inventory now that the Warehouse is closed. There were mighty attached to their stuff last time I checked, didn't hardly want to part with it judging by the prices.

I order from online places everything except powder, birdshot, and primers, stuff that is too expensive to ship.

For shotgun stuff I go here. It is a bit of a drive for me but it is worth it to go there. Good, good people to deal with.

live in norther ky but primers are hard to find everywhere.if you dont mind the drive try River Traders shooting sports in Crittenden Ky.859 428 2300. They have a lot of powders too and are fairly reasonably priced. O f cource Midway for mail order or Graf& sons. Reloading is fun and rewarding.

Where I live, there is NO Stores that sells reloading supplies. I ordered some 130 grain .270 bullets and 150 grain Hornady .308 bullets from Midway, the otherday. Had to go to E-Town to find powder and primers. Lot of guys order their Powders & Primers but the shipping charge just about doubles the price.

I have not had to order any supplies in a while but what i did was find a few people that also want to order powder and primers and everybody splits the hazmat fee. Most places charge a standard fee up to so many pounds.Doesnt matter if you order 1 can of powder or 10 cans.Good luck finding primers.

Good luck finding primers.

I bought a carton of 1,000 CCI (Bench Rest) Large Rifle primers in E-Town. This was the only carton they had left so I bought it, also bought a pound of Accurate 4064 powder, as they didn't have IMR-4064 and the two are similar, with the Accurate powder just a little slower. This was back in March so I am certain they have some primers in stock now.

Hey again I would call River Traders at 859 428 2300. Even if you have to drive an hour and a half I think it would be worth it!!! They have a fairly good supply of Powder and primers. Im not sure about small rifle! They seem to have pretty much powder. I know the owner its a new shop. Ive been looking at mail order and no one has primers and the popular powders are all out from what I can see. Haz mat fees would pay for the gas! They are located 2 min off 75 at the Crittenden exit just north of Dry Ridge. good luck!

small rifle are for casings like 223 and many more . large rifle generally for the bigger casings like 3006 and many others. small pistol are for 9mm 380 ect. large pistol is for 45 44 ect the larger casings and calibers. The real shortages now are for small pistol and rifle as the military are using alot up. Also people are hoarding and buying just to make a profit. plus the ammo companies realizing that they can make more money on loaded ammo are using many more primers. Its called supply and demand. The more people buy and hoard it makes it worse foe everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Rock a 38 or 357 uses small pistol 357 uses small magnum pistol. The rest you could get by with reg large pistol and large rifle. Now you may find out that large rifle magnum primers work better in some of your bigger rifle loads if you use ball type powder. But for the most part the large rifle primers will work fine. I would suggest winchester primers and if you cant find winchesters go with CCI. I hear Federals work pretty good too but havent tried them. Start out with a good reloading and powder manual. Also check out Accurate reloading and Handloads .com. Very knowledgable people on there for the most part. They will answer a lot of your questions ! also 24 hour campfire!!
