Slug gun scope?

Im getting a barrel to go on my 870 to shoot slugs because one of the properties that I hunt dosn't allow centerfire rifles etc. I want a half decent scope to go on the barrel but don't really want to spend a lot of money on it right now... It isnt something that im going to use a lot because I hunt diffrent properties etc. I was thinking about one of the leapold VX 1 shotgun or Rifleman shotgun scopes but wanted to hear what everyone else used. What do you have? How do you like it etc?

I have a Leupold VX-1 2-7X33 m/m shotgun scope mounted on my Browning Gold 20 gauge Slug Gun. Mine has Heavy Duplex reticle for use in brushy areas & low light areas. Very good scope and I highly recommend it.

I shoot a Mossberg 835 for turkeys and have used a Bushnell Bantam 1.5x 4 (I think) for years. It has a circle reticle that is great for turkeys since it also works as a rangefinder for my application. It's less that $50 from Midway and other places. I've never had any issues with the scope and it has been put thru the wringer.

I have a Leupold 4 power shotgun scope, the M8 model and really like it. Its clear and has plenty of eye relief.
