What is the rate of twist in your Cabela's 50 caliber in-line gun?

More questions may follow.

All I can say is who knows. This is a Brolin Arms Legacy model. Brolin Arms appears to be a cheap made in china kinda gun maker. Sell somthing and split. I presumed when I bought somthing from Cabelas it would be somthing I could count on. Well the gun shoots. What more was I looking for I guess.

I'm going to go with this thought cheap gun is the problem. I I figured 50 cal was 50 cal but maybe not.

Shogan.........do you have your own personal black cloud or do you normally just go out on rainy days?? Have you complained to Cabelas? They normally go out of their way to make a customer happy.

Ifn' I were you I would start talking to Cabela's to see if I could send that thing back for a refund or exchange. Brolin Arms is a California based importer. They have imported airguns from China, shotguns and handguns from Hungary and the Phillipines. I could not find any info on your ML and I did a search on Cabela's on-line catalogue without success.

I'll shoot Coondog an E-mail to see ifn' he has any ideas.

Shogan, I'd say the rate of twist in your gun barrel is about 1 time around a medium sized tree.

Shogan,
If you ever get a refund, and are still looking for a good inline, Sam's Club in Louisville is selling a CVA HunterBolt 209 Mag with nickel barrel and Break-Up stock for $169. I just bought one last week and the grouping with Powerbelt 245 Aerotips, and 2 50-grain pyrodex pellets is about 3 inches at 100 yards. Also, if you are interested, I'm selling my American Knight In-Line for $100. Good luck.

Ignorance was bliss. Yes it was. See prior to these bullets I thought well thats the nature of muzzle all over the place. But now I'm figuring the poor shot grouping was due to a mis calibered barrel.

Cabela's says send it in for a valuation. They will make me an offer I can't refuse (because they will have my gun I can't refuse it).

So here we go somehow I figure this is going to cost me big. Last time I mailed a gun someplace all I got out of it was a shipping bill.
